"People are waking up to the fact that if we're going to be true to our faith and believe that god is the creator of the earth and we are manager and steward and taking care of it, we've done a lousy job of really taking care of it." Asked directly if he believes humans caused global warming, Huckabee says that while he is "not a scientist," he thinks "we ought to act as if that is the case.
