McCain Talks Climate Change During Stops In Iowa Before the AARP forum Thursday evening, Senator McCain made his way through Siouxland. He talked about topics ranging from climate change to alternative fuels. Thursday afternoon McCain spoke at Dordt College in Sioux Center Iowa. McCain says through his travels he has seen the devastating impact of climate change, and says if he’s elected president he’ll ensure future generations will inherit a healthy planet. McCain also talked about alternative fuels and said he’s in favor of ethanol. Senator John McCain says, "I didn’t support ethanol when oil was $10 a barrel. Now it’s $80 a barrel and we don’t know where it’s going so ethanol makes a lot of sense." McCain also talked about health care saying although it’s the highest quality in the world, it costs too much and the costs need to come down. http://www.ktiv.com/News/index.php?ID=18368
